Dubai's fishing grounds start about 45 minutes out — and our 33 ft fishing boat Reel Time is built for exactly that run. Trips run four hours with trolling and bottom fishing, all tackle and bait included, and a crew that fishes these waters year-round. Kingfish, barracuda, trevally, hammour and snapper are the regulars, depending on the season.

From AED 1,800 for a 4-hour trip (up to 8 guests) on Reel Time. Every experience is quoted in writing on WhatsApp with the yacht, hours and add-ons itemised — the price we confirm is the price you pay. What will we catch?
It depends on the season, but the regular Dubai catch list includes kingfish, barracuda, queenfish, trevally, hammour (grouper), snapper and cobia. The crew chooses trolling or bottom fishing — or both — based on the day's conditions and what has been biting that week.
We have never fished before. Is that OK?
Completely. Most of our fishing guests are first-timers. The crew rigs the rods, shows you the technique and helps land the fish — your job is to reel and enjoy it. Experienced anglers can be as hands-on as they like.
Why do fishing trips start so early?
Fish bite best in the cooler hours, and the sea is calmest early. Morning trips typically depart around 6 AM; there is also an afternoon trip for groups who cannot do dawn. In summer, the early trip is also far more comfortable for guests.
Can we eat what we catch?
The crew will clean and fillet your catch on board to take home. Some guests arrange for a beachside or partner restaurant to cook it — ask when you book and we will tell you the current options near the marina.
